Hello….

Hit-List-Reviews is a website that will present reviews for all kinds of music, especially Hip Hop music. I will give my attention to whole albums, as I consider every album like a unique piece of art. The main focus will be on categories as the lyrics, the artist, the album’s producer and the beats he used, the overall sound of the project and on what makes the album special and therefore great.

Hi! My name is Danijel and I like doing a lot of things, way too many to mention in this section.

A couple of years ago I thought that I found my passion in the art of Pro-Wrestling. I basically put my whole existence into it and had just one goal:

To become a professional wrestler and tour the world.

Unfortunately, I suffered a severe injury in the beginning of 2015 and would have almost died as a result, if the medical team wouldn’t had done such a great job.

Finding a new passion

As I wasn’t able to continue chasing this dream in the aftermath, I needed to find something else. After the rehabilitation, which took about a year, I started an A-level course in an evening school for the subjects German, Math and, last but not least, English.

I had a passion for this beautiful language since the age of six. It came through watching the TV channel “Cartoon Network”. Because of watching it every day in primary school, I started slowly connecting the language with the images. As a result, my feeling for the language got better and better and with the age of six, I was able to speak my second foreign language.

Therefore, as you have probably guessed, it was a lot of fun for me to graduate in English. I especially loved writing texts for homework.
After my graduation in 2018, however, I didn’t know what to do at first. I was done with school and had no clue what to do next. But one thing was for sure, I would not stop improving my English skills because I wasn’t in school anymore. I also noticed that writing was actually great fun to me, though not considering it a passion back then. But it actually was.

Hip-Hop

Another passion of mine, actually one of my biggest passions, is music, especially American Hip-Hop- and Rap-music. For this reason, I connected my two passions and started writing reviews for music albums in English. I think about every detail of an album when I hear it.

For instance, what state of mind was the artist in when creating it. What did he want to share with us? Why did he express it in this and not that way? Why are the songs placed in a particular order? Are there any similarities to his previous projects? These are just a few questions I ask myself when listening to music in general.

Therefore, the main purpose of this site will be to present my reviews to all of you, my dear readers. I want to find people who have similar views to mine. I encourage you guys to comment and share my reviews and help me to get better at writing.
